The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a great choice if you're looking for a robot vacuum and mop that is middle-of-the-road. It's got a fantastic mopping capability, but it lacks some of the features that are found in its more expensive sibling.

During testing it was able to eliminate pet hair and dry oats out of carpets with a medium pile. It doesn't use LIDAR, however, as cheaper models do, to map your home.

1. Roomba S9+ from iRobot

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top-rated robot vacuums. It is a powerful cleaner and numerous features that include a self-emptying dirt compartment built into its charging base. The robot will learn your habits for cleaning and suggest automatic schedules that will give you the ultimate hands-free cleaning experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the process of setting up. Once everything is connected, you can start the automatic cleaning functions at the push of one button. You can select a general clean that prioritizes getting rid of larger pieces of debris such as rice and Top Robot vacuum cleaner cereal or two thorough mappings of your area to ensure your entire home is properly arranged.

This robot vac performs well on both floors that are bare and carpet with a low pile. It is able to take large objects and does not lose suction as fast as some others do and can pick up pet hair with ease. It has a difficult time with high-pile or plush carpet, but iRobot says it will improve with future models.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot, which concentrates on enhancing edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted D-shaped design, which it hopes will allow it to hug furniture and walls. It's a significant improvement over hockey puck-shaped robovacs that are common, but we found it only marginally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also features a superior filtration system which blocks microscopic particles and allergens recirculating in your home. We think it's a nice statement however, it's not enough to justify a premium price.

Its smart navigation system utilizes sensors to store the arrangement of your home and vSLAM to map your interior. It then cleans your entire home with ease by avoiding obstacles such as stairs and other barriers. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and set cleaning times, and top Robot vacuum cleaner establish virtual boundary markers, so that it can recognize areas that require more attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it is about robots that combine vacuuming and mopping, the Roborock Q Revo stands out. Its vacuum settings are as good as those found on more expensive models. Its mopping system is superior as its spinning pads clean your floors more efficiently than an ordinary pad that vibrates.

The only issue is the lack of a second brush for deeper cleaning. However, it's not a problem for those who want to own one of the top robots on the market. The robo-vac's tank for dust is also bigger than those on many of its rivals and takes only two or three cycles to fill it up, even with the maximum dirt level.

In terms of the mopping device, I was awestruck with its ability to scrub the tough dirt off my floors. Its two lowest mopping modes, which are less aggressive than the more powerful ones, generate little noise, allowing you to work or watch TV without distraction. If it comes into contact with a wall or furniture piece it gently bumps into it and then moves forward.

The Q Revo is unique in that it can run almost entirely on its own, requiring only minimal user involvement. The dock of the robo-vac is multifunctional and will automatically move trash into a hidden bin. It also washes and dries the clean water tank. The app will only notify you when something is not right, such as a low clean water tank or a vacuuming session that is cancelled due to a full bin.

You can also create and merge actual rooms to customize how the Q Revo treats your abode. This is an excellent feature for those who have multiple areas of the home with different flooring materials or there's some items that need to be cleaned out frequently, like toys, clothes and books. The robo-vac was also one of the top performers in my test and was able to remove debris from both carpets as well as hardwood floors on the first attempt. It can even clean up spills that are wet but I would suggest cleaning them off using a clean cloth before bringing the robot into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd want from a top-quality robot vacuum and mop combo and more. It has an omni-rotating mop as well as a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets and hard floors. It's akin to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also has self-cleaning bases that automatically empties and washes mop pads, keeping them clean and ready for use again. It also comes with a sensor that can detect obstacles better and prevents it from falling on furniture and other objects.

The most notable improvement to the ECOVACS The X1 Deebot is the sleeker, more modern design. This is thanks to Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. The robot is still big. It has a height of more than two feet both height and depth, and weighs almost four pounds. However the robot as well as its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.

This version is more efficient than the X1 as it charges faster and cleans 1,500 square feet in a single charge. It also has a bigger dustbin that is more durable to hold more debris and is easier to empty it when needed.

The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant and an app that works even when you're not at home. It also comes with an intelligent routing feature that lets it clean specific areas or rooms of your home instead of following a predetermined route.

The X2 Omni is the most effective robot at mopping. Its rotating mop pads scrub away tough stains, and its motor generates a lot of downward pressure. The vacuuming capabilities are also excellent, and it increases suction when it detects a carpet to ensure a thorough cleaning. It also has a massive battery that can last for weeks between charges, and its mopping mode is as effective as anything we've seen in an ordinary robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot mop and vacuum is a premium model that has a range of features that aren't typically found on robots of this price. It has the ability to create detailed floor maps, detect various flooring types, and it's one of the few to automatically wash and dry its mop pads. These are nice features however they can place the L10s in the premium category. This could make it more expensive than homeowners need.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaner. It's slim and tall and has a white-colored finish accented with silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine has an impressive bumper that protects the vacuum cleaner and furniture as you move around your home. Sensors are hidden behind the front pane which help the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top robot vacuum Cleaner of the vacuum there is a single button that acts as an on/off switch. Clicking this will turn on the vacuum, while clicking it again will shut off the vacuum and return it to its base station. The center of the control panel has the circular menu which lets you choose cleaning modes as well as schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons allow you to access the settings in the app, which allow you to customize how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

Like the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation techniques to help you map out your home. This allows the robot to mop and vacuum efficiently without getting stuck. The LIDAR helps the robot vacuum avoid obstacles and identify them and avoid them, which is a great feature for homes with pets or small children.

The L10s Ultra offers solid vacuuming performance that clears 98.4 percent of the debris from our hardwood floor test and removing all but the most stubborn juice stain. The mops are also efficient, removing 98.4 percent of the debris that was found on our wood, tile, and carpet tests. However, it wasn't as efficient in dealing with sand on the hard floor and the quaker oats that are on carpet.
