It is better than the less expensive RoboVac 11S in most ways and is more easy to maintain and requiring lower recurring costs. It's also superior in vacuuming floors that are not clean and picking up pet fur, but it isn't as effective on low- or higher-pile carpet.

It's not as well-built however it's a solid option. The ION XL is a powerful machine with a large capacity bin. It can be controlled by an app or a voice command and is easy to maintain. It also has a reasonable price.
